It's because I have successful friends that I have such a low self-esteem. Damn you, successful friends. If I hung out with druggies, I wouldn't have this problem. I'd just be like, "You guys are a bunch of losers. I'm so much better than you."
i feel exactly the same way! one of my best friends was just called as the RS president. my solution to this problem: i wrote her a note saying we couldn't be friends anymore :)
